‘SplodeyK stopped on her way home yesterday at a fireworks store which was having a “buy 1, get 3” sale and got several “fountains” the size of the ones this man in a photo from the interwebz is carrying. Plus some other stuff, including 1,200 more 1.5″ firecrackers. (We now have a total of 1,600 of the latter.)
UPDATE: Once again, the HTML and link to image disappeared when I posted the comment. Sorry. The fountains are about 2′ long with a big plastic spike to hold them upright. Sure glad everything’s damp around here. 👿
A local story -- occurred in Simi Valley and the woman at the center of it is from Woodland Hills. Progressive liberals in all their glory -- this woman’s business and reputation are both destroyed.
Joy Reid, Soledad O’ Brien, Ana Navarro and Toure Neblett are despicable pieces of shit and should be forced to pay enormous sums of money to Ms. La Liberte for what they’ve done to damage her.
In a just country, those four would be stripped of every asset they own to compensate their victim and have to live on the streets in addition to being barred for life from ever being involved in the media again in any form. Including blogging.
In addition to being “fair” to my way of thinking, that would discourage similar behavior from other so-called “journalists”.

Fatwa -- enjoy lot’s of ‘splodey goodness tonight! Things are way too dry out here for those sort of antics, but that won’t stop people. While we’re watching several commercial displays from our backyard, experience tells me we’ll see several “local” displays, as well.
In re Joy Reid -- well, she apologized, so that makes it all better, right?
These people never experience the consequences of their actions. It’s disgusting.
I’m awaiting the day that some innocent whose life is ruined by a “celebrity” or politician decides that, ah, “direct action” is the only way they’ll get any semblance of justice.
Too bad that vigilanteism seems to be a necessary evil in our country, but it is.
We just stuffed ourselves with pan-fried steaks outta the freezer; they were reduced price at Waddlemart that I picked-up several weeks ago. Tender and delicious; quite the treat.
Had some TJ’s Tots to go with them; on this day, veggies are for lefties or effete Euro-scum.
No beer, ’cause I didn’t care enough to buy any; ditto bourbon. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Now, we wait for the sun to descend. (Just had a little rain, so it’s even safer to launch some pyrotechnics; teh yay!!)
The neighbor’s house down the hill and across the road just went up in flames. Fire Department got there quickly, but likely a total loss -- don’t know if anyone was inside or what caused it. Must have 7 or so fire engines blocking the road off entirely along with police. No wind to speak of so it din’t move up the street or up the hillside.
Sadly, reports are now of one body found inside and “suspicious circumstances” around the death.
It’s turned into a real clusterfark outside as firetrucks are rolling past, but the other news trucks are trying to back up our hill and then to turn around. It’s a narrow road.
