Weird…the image appeared in my browser when I posted just the link sans HTML; perhaps that’s how the latest upgrade here handles images now. Which would be a goodness.

Good morning, Fatwa, Mac, and Sven!
It got up to 113°F here yesterday. I can’t imagine what it was like at Sven’s Mountain Redoubt.
We’ve got a lot of smoke here, to the point where you really don’t want to be outside. I’m assuming it’s from the Miramar fire, but there’s a lot more smoke than you’d expect from a 100-acre fire.
Sven -- I hope you’re done digging and don’t have to go out in this weather, again.
So I wonder, if Judge Amy Barrett gets on the Supreme Court, will a certain someone be harassing her as being her nemesis? She is even Catholic so maybe the sister of Jerry Barrett or some such? Just wondering.

Just learned that there are two fires on Camp Pendleton -- one is 560 acres and the other is 1000 acres -- that’s the source of the smoke.
