They were doing “dry runs” with the school buses earlier this week; bah! I cannot adequately express just how much I’m looking forward to the little rat bastards dropping their after-school snack wrappers on our lawn again. Oh, how I’ve missed that.
Maybe not, but Iâm sure it would get Chuck Schumerâs panties all in a twist.
I suspect Chuck the Schmuck was born with pre-knotted panties.
Jim looked at the roof of a HOA in a toney part of West Hollywood yesterday. The place was built in ’69 and converted to condos at some point. In doing a little research, I learned that two bedroom units at this place currently go for more than $750K. Yes…you read that right: a 2 BR apartment in a fifty-year-old building for three quarters of a million bucks.

I went to the dentist yesterday for a routine checkup (that I haven’t had in way too many years) and I’m going back this morning for a temporary crown and replacement of a few extremely old fillings.
Not looking forward to it.
I was scheduled for a treadmill stress test yesterday at 9 am. literally three minutes before we were going to leave they called and canceled. They said they could get me in today but I preferred to reschedule for next week. I have to go 24 hours with NO COFFEE!!!!!!!!! Going in today would have meant another day WITHOUT COFFEE!!!! A already had a headache Monday night from NO COFFEE!!!! I also have to fast for 6 or 9 hours, depending on who I talk to, and that includes no water. That seems strange but is less a problem than NO COFFEE!!!!!
So I go next Wednesday. Carp. This will be my third one, every July. I might have skipped it but I need cataract surgery and should get a release from the heart Doctor. I need at least two more stents but have been putting that off. I hate the idea of someone cutting my eyes but am getting to where I have little choice. Pfffttt!
Mac -- git ‘er dun! Both the cataract surgery and the stents. Everyone I know that has had cataract surgery has said the same as you, before the surgery, and the same thing afterwards, “Why did I wait?!”
Little Mouse wants, and deserves, to have you around for many, many, more years. Don’t let her down.
