LambiePieK tells me that someone has put up a GoFundMe to pay folks to assault (rape and murder) Paul Manafort in prison. Not gonna put up a link, but it’s not hard to find. Just search at GFM for “manafort” and look for “karma for paul manafort fund”.
Can’t help but think that violates GFM’s TOS, but you know what a naif I am.
Also saw that MasterCard has essentially ordered Patreon to de-platform Robert Spencer / Jihad Watch. This is seriously frightening shit, like the Alex Jones business.

It increasingly seems like we’re barrelling toward CivWar2. I’m afraid things are going to start going seriously “hot” on November 7th regardless of the midterm outcome.
Possibly even before then, due to some impossible-to-predict “X event”.
This all makes me most unhappy.
EDIT: What caused me to express the above is CNN’s attempt to dox the Manafort jurors, which strikes me as straight-up jury intimidation.
There are a few scenarios possible after the November elections based on the results -- none of them good. I don’t believe the left can live with a partial victory where they do not regain control of either the House or the Senate, but pick up some wins in the House and at the state level. Taking back either Congressional body will calm them down enough until 2020 -- they will still have hope in the electoral process and they’ll believe that us rubes are maybe coming to our senses.
If the Republicans retain control of Congress, then the left will go completely bonkers. If the Republicans actually pick up seats, they’ll go beyond bonkers.
If that occurs, I think a return to the 60’s style of protests, bombings, and related random and targeted violence is likely. What we’ve seen the last few years with BLM and the targeting of police, the public hounding of Conservatives and Republicans -- not to mention the assassination attempts -- is all just foreplay.
And of course the media, those stalwarts of democracy, decency, and the American way, will be right on top of things to piss gasoline on the embers.
I don’t want to see this happen, but if it is to happen sooner or later, then I’d rather it happen now while I’m still of sound mind and body -- more or less.
I’ve been reading through the Las Vegas PD report on the mass shooting last October -- 187 pages and not a lot of information -- absolutely no motive identified or even speculated, and Paddock acted alone. Of the 58 people that were killed, all but 1 died immediately at the scene or within the next 12 hours at various hospitals. What’s odd is that the report states over 400 other people suffered gunshot or shrapnel injuries -- but that none of them died from their wounds. It seems unusual that no one was wounded seriously enough to have died days later.
