Watching some of the confirmation “hearings” this morning -- interesting how outraged lefties always are and how they show up at these types of events so that they can shout meaningless slogans and be obnoxious.
And these are the same people that the media and Hollywood keep saying are so much better and smarter than me and who I should be listening to…because of course they are the only ones woke enough to notice a woman whose mother is Mexican flashing a white power symbol. Makes perfect fuckin’ sense to me.
Yes, interesting, isn’t it? I was also a bit taken aback by the Handmaid’s Tail theater from the folks who lionized Ted Kennedy and the Clintons. Are they that ignorant or that hypocritical?
I remember that I read Atwood’s book, but I can’t remember anything at all about it. Same thing for the movie that came out like 20 years ago. Haven’t bothered to watch the new series, but have heard it has the usual Christian bashing -if they wanted to be brave, they could have made it a future vision of the caliphate.
I’m not a fan of Lindsey Graham, but he did get some good lines out at the hearing today. Particularly liked the the one about if the left wants to start picking judges, then they need to win an election first -- losers don’t get to pick judges.
