It makes you wonder who votes these people into office.
Glad I’ve got a couple of unworn pairs of Levis 501s plus a few others in various states of wear, so I’m good on jeans until at least 2020. But I’m mighty damned annoyed that I will be forgoing my go-to jeans of nearly 50 years.
My misanthropy toward fellow Americans is reaching heretofore unknown levels…and I do not like it.

Tuesday morning I sent my email of resignation to my boss (really my boss-boss, but the position directly above me is vacant), with a copy to the director of special education and HR. An hour later HR contacted me saying they would mail out instructions for returning my laptop, etc. It wasn’t until after 2:30 that my boss said anything -- “I’m working on getting support for your students, but I’m learning that I we[sic] require official resignation. Has this process already been completed?” WTF?!!? “Official resignation”??? I’m waiting until Monday to tell my colleagues.
Wonder what they mean be “official resignation”. Is that where you go into their office, they remove your epaulets with a saber and then have you “officially” escorted off the property by security? 😉
I haven’t the faintest, effing clue, but since HR understood what my resignation email meant, that’s good enough. I’m sorry, but if “I’m writing to notify you of my resignation” isn’t clear, then maybe you should seek a position that requires less brain power.
He’ll be disrupting traffic in The OC tomorrow when he gives a speech (for big buck$) on behalf of a bunch of Lefty’s hoping to make it into Congress. It’s an invitation-only event and somehow I don’t think he’ll allow the type of disruptions that his followers have visited upon the Kavanaugh hearings and every other non-Leftist event in the last 8 years.
