Probably the worst traffic out here in years yesterday. To the south, the 101 was shut down because of that plane; to the north, the 118 was a mess because of another accident that kept westbound lanes closed for almost 10 hours. No matter where you turned or what clever little trick you tried, you were stuck in bumper to bumper traffic. For hours.
Mrs Sven stayed at work until 11:00 trying to avoid it and it still took her 45 minutes to go 8 miles.
Thought of you and Mrs. Sven when I read about that plane yesterday; didn’t know about the 118 snafu until just now.
Jim and several of the guys were working in Santa Rosa Cyn. yesterday; don’t know if the crew got hung-up in that mess, as they finished the job at least an hour before the plane crashed.

There’s an octopus in one of the tanks at Teh Younger’s place of employment. They have to keep “puzzles”, like jars and small tubes connecting one tank to another, in the tank to keep the octopus happy.
