The house down the hill has a large palm tree that hasn’t been trimmed in 17 years. It’s an eyesore and full of rats. The house sold recently and the sound of a chainsaw greeted us at 7 this morning. I don’t know if they’re taking it down (please!), or just trimming it up, but either way, it’s better than it has been.

Unfortunately it looks like they only trimmed the palm tree -- and a stellar job it was!
