I had my annual physical this morning, including a blood draw; won’t know the results of that for a couple of days. But I already know:
Urine test: good
EKG: Good
Blood pressure: good (way down from four months ago which itself was a huge improvement over four months previous to that)
Told EvilGingerK she’s probably stuck with me for a while; she managed to hide her disappointment pretty well. 🙂

Remember when “Spirit In The Sky” came out in ’69; I really wanted to know how they got one of the guitar sounds. (The short, echoed, pitch-descending bits.) Finally came up with a couple of plausible techniques -- based on 1969 technology -- after talking it over with my audio engineering mentor (who was just getting his start the same year) when I met him in ’86.
Just one of those little things the “audio terrier” in my brain wouldn’t let go of…
