Yesterday’s was the first Super Bowl I’ve watched from beginning to end in many a year. I know that many people found it boring, but I thought it was a hard-fought, exciting game. I was not impressed by the officiating, and it seemed that every time the Rams got some momentum going, there was a questionable call that halted that. There were also a number of missed calls that were hard to believe. I don’t want to sound like a conspiracy theorist, but there have been more than a few times that it appeared that the fix was in, such as the idiotic decision by the Chiefs to kick-off in OT and the infamous lack of pass interference call in the Saints game. At least MVP was awarded to the guy who really deserved it.
We just found a leak in our new roof. The leak is coming from around one of the roof vents that was installed and is dripping onto the HVAC ducting. That’s a good thing, because if it was dripping onto the insulation, we wouldn’t have heard it. I’ve got a bucket up in the attic and now I need to contact the roofer and see if he’ll stand behind his work.
