Teh Squeaky Wheel
G’day, from Teh Great Frozen (28ºF) South, Wheelizens
I blame moose and skwirel.
It was Gidney and Cloyd with the scrooch gun on the Ruby Yacht of Omar Kahyyam…get a Clue™. 😉
Beautiful cats; thanks, Mac! Hi, Fatwa -- still steady rain out here.
Still steady paperwork, phone calls and emails back here. 😉
Read late last night that the Congressional Black Caucus and the Congressional Progressive Caucus don’t seem to want a vote on a resolution condemning ani-Semitism. Curious, that…
(And a great shame such a thing actually seems to be necessary in 2019 America.)
I’m pretty much at the point of declaring all Joooos who support the Democrat party at this time to be kapos.
Too harsh? Maybe…but I care very little that may be so.
I don’t know who coined the phrase “self-gassing Jew”, but I like it. 👿
Keep in mind that the bill they don’t want to vote on has been watered down to the point of absurdity, yet they still find it problematic.
“I find them problematic.”
Can’t we all get along? Tell you what, the more I see of the Dems since they won last November, the more confident I am of Trump getting reelected.
Happy Wednesday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa, and Sven!
Rain should be arriving around 9 this morning. I really wish the state had actually used water bond money to build water storage, like they promised. I read some figures recently about the amount of water being released from Prado Dam on the Santa Ana river. That river has quite a number of settling ponds and recharge basins to allow the released water to recharge the aquifer. That’s great, except the recharge rate is far less than the release rate, meaning that a lot of that water is going straight to the ocean.
It’d also be nice if CA’s gas tax money went toward maintaining roads, instead of subsidizing public transit.
“Hey…let’s build some high-speed aqueducts so people can take eco-friendly sailboats boats between S.F. and L.A.!!1!”
We would have built them reservoir things except Trump wouldn’t give us money for it. On the plus side, we banned plastic straws.
