Fatwa Arbuckle: Misanthropologist

Sunday greetin’s, Wheelizens!

It’s day two of Epic Epstein Suicide Watch Failure!!1! (Some moron pundits have opined that his convenient death was, ah, very Russian; they really do think we’re stupid. Orange Man Bad!!1!)

Enjoyed the baiting of the IRS scammer.

I’ve been known to occasionally play phone scammers and after a while asking them if they’d like to speak to their Mom. This generally causes them some confusion, followed by me rather graphically describe how their Mom is currently pleasuring me. 👿

A blessed Sabbath, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa!

Ah yes, the Russians! Is there anything they can’t do? Besides run a country, I mean.

We’ve had problems in the past with rats enjoying our bird feeder. I’ve used poison, coated with a little peanut butter, to keep them under control, but we still bring the bird feeder in at sundown and put it out the next morning. We now have a rat that comes out during the day to enjoy a snack. My pellet pistol hasn’t dissuaded it, so I went out to get more rat poison. Well, you can’t buy effective rat poison anymore. The 2nd generation anti-coagulants have been banned in California. It seems there were problems with predators eating the poisoned rats (the rats don’t die right away) and then the predators were dying. So yesterday I went out and bought an old-fashioned rat trap and put it outside, in a small box. I put it in a box because I don’t want the birds, rabbits, or trash pandas to get to it. We’ll see if that works.

Happy Sunday, GN!

Fatwa Arbuckle: Misanthropologist

Hi, Paddy and Sven!

We schlepped out to MamaK’s today for FTR’s birfday, which was nice.

We also had to see some folks we don’t like, which was not so nice, but couldn’t be helped. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Good luck dispatching Señor Rata without violating CA wildlife regulations…criminy.

Tried my first limoncello tonight -- stuff is strong, eh? Tasty, though.

It’s generally around 30% or 60 proof, so stronger than a lot of liqueurs, but not as strong as vodka, rum, whisky, etc. at 80 proof. Kahlua, for example is 20% (40 proof), but is usually mixed with something. So, yeah, the idea is to sip it, not slam back a shot.
