Well the old Polack is back in the hospital. I was going to head up there but his neighbor called and said a social worker type was there this morning and called the paramedics. I’ll go over to the hospital in a bit and when I get there I will wag my finger in his face and remind him that I told him that this is EXACTLY what I said was going to happen if he checked himself out early. Wouldn’t listen to me would you and now see the mess you are in. Hrrmph.
Man, I sat down for just a minute and fell asleep for an hour plus. WTF? OK, off to the hospital. The neighbor just left there, using the “we got to go to church” excuse.
Good luck with the finger-wagging, Sven, not that it will do much, if any, good. At the least, maybe this will get him to understand that there are people that care about him.
A rough night. There were giving him blood when we showed -- looked much the worse for wear. They found a lot of internal bleeding due to a bleeding ulcer -- they fixed that up but he’s very miserable. A lot of pain.
I’m having some limoncello and going to bed.
Any spare prayers you all can share for our friend, please do so. It’s going to be a rough ride.
