If only we had an actual choice in utility providers.
Don’t know how much of a difference that would make, as the provider would still have to use SCE’s or PG&E’s poorly-maintained infrastructure for “the last mile”.
Too bad all that money pissed away on the ill-fated high-speed train wasn’t put toward upgrading the electrical grid or building new catch basins for when y’all get some rain. (Hard to believe projects like those wouldn’t furnish plenty of opportunities for grifting. But what do I know; I’m just a poor, honest zhlub.)

We’ve got our quarterly, all-hands, professional learning community meeting today. It will be a day filled with mostly irrelevant information for my department, but in between things I hope to talk with a few people and schedule a few meetings.
Made it through another day -- feeling OK. Jack Tatum tho has been gone since last night…and Mrs Sven comes home tonight. He best be back here and safe and welcoming or my back won’t be the only thing hurting.
