Good on ya for helping move stuff for your friend (whom I hope has a speedier-than-anticipated recovery). Assisting folks in moving is a goodness. Over the years, I’ve seen so many instances of people who offered to help someone move and then didn’t show up. (Not that I’m any paragon of “moving virtue”, but I was raised with the odd notion that commitments should be honored, even when one doesn’t feel like it.)

I’d imagine seeing that mountain lion was a bit startling, despite the fact they’re (presumably) part of your neighborhood ecosystem.
I had fun too, but I find it surprising that I’m not sore today.
It’s probably because my “regular” job is fairly physical. Moving palettes and stacking carts and such like. Plus, I’m starting to get back into the strength training. That might be helping also.
A lazy Saturday out here -- watched some of the impeachment hearings this morning and was most amused when CNN played the race card immediately after by referring to Trump’s legal team as a bunch of white guys from the White House.

It really was a huge block of stuff tho. It was the biggest of the
U-Haul trucks. One bigger than the one we had when we moved down here from Oregon.
