Teh Squeaky Wheel
I’ve not logged-in at Gab in quite a while but will follow back when I do; t’anks!
It’s a bit appalling that Dem hacks have acknowledged there might actually be something to the accusations against Biden but they’re gonna vote for him anyway.
Apparently “Toothy Hair Plugs Kiddie Groper Bad!” is not going to be a thing among liberals.
Good morning, GN! Hello Dv8 and Fatwa!! Happy Mother’s Day!!!
Re: Dem voters -- it’s not surprising at all. I bet for most of them, the angst they felt making that decision lasted all of a minute or so.
It’s a growing industry: Lost your job? Consider becoming a “contact tracer”
“In the absence of a federal plan, some city and state health departments are already seeking to fill thousands of these positions. Experts estimate that between 100,000 and 300,000 contact tracers — who can earn up to $65,000 per year — will be needed nationwide based on state populations and projected COVID-19 infection rates.”
When I saw the CA governor’s plan I was reminded of reading once how many East Germans were involved in spying on their neighbors and it was an appalling number. I guess that was a fantasy vision for the new Democrats.
Good morning, Mac. We seem to be the minority opinion that this is a frightening development ripe for future abuse.
I caught one show on the History Channel where a gentleman was able to find his family’s Stasi file … and found out it was his brother spying for the State.
This is going to end up in violence, isn’t it?
That’s a feature, not a bug. Violence leads to more laws, regulations, and govt control, which appears to be the driving force behind all govts.
Overweening laws, regulations, and govt control are a rather dangerous game in an armed society.
As it should be. I’m frankly a bit surprised not a single U.S. pol or bureaucrat has been assaulted -- or worse -- yet.
I’m like a meercat these days, “Job? Job?” and then … yeah, any contacttracers out here would need armed escort and our Sheriff and Police departments just aren’t that big.
Hi, Sven and Mac!
Happy Mother’s Day. 👿

“Extraordinary circumstances call for extraordinary policy measures. If there is a way to reduce both the butcher’s bill and the banker’s bill, then governments are justified in mandating it.”
Check out the comments.
And off to make a market run. Poof
A blessed Sabbath, and a Happy Mother’s Day, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, dv8, Fatwa, Sven, Mac, and TeX!
dv8 and Fatwa -- it’s almost as if Democrats really don’t care about assaults on women, unless there’s political gain to be made.
Sven -- thanks for the link to the Quillette article. The comments give me hope for the world.
The market on Mother’s Day -- not a good place to be. Checkout lines were very very very long. Hey, Paddy, Mac, and Tex!
Been growing some sunflowers inside -- time for them to relocate to the real world and dirt.
Good Morning/Afternoon EveryGerbillyBody!
Happy Gerbilly Mother’s Day to all of ours!
Actually went visiting today, Got back recently. Harper was too migrainey to go, so she just stayed home. Spent the afternoon on the veranda with some friends. Ate sandwiches and cookies, drank soda. Talked about all kinds of stuff.
Came back home. dropped by the store.
Every large bucket of Automatic Dishwasher packets is gone. Name Brands, store brands, everything except a few overpriced small packages.
Are people now using them as suppositories to facilitate the use of their stockpiled toilet paper???
I don’t know what’s going on there. There’s plenty of laundry soap, bleach, oxygen bleach, etc.
Still no Lysol or anything like that.
