Fatwa Arbuckle: Misanthropologist

Tuesday salutations, GN!

Maaaan…if I run into teh thread raccoon, I’m concerned I may need more than an Epée-Pen to deal with the wounds. 🙂

dv8 --

Hope the planning and execution of your delivery route goes well.

Sven --

Those Mexican murder figures are appalling; do not want in America.

BBL.

You would think that the MSM would do a story once in a while about the bloodshed in Mexico -- most of these incidents have video after the fact and a lot of the time the actual murders are filmed live and the MSM is all about the visuals.

It’s a puzzler.

it’s not a puzzler, is it?

Happy Tuesday, GN! Good morning, Fatwa.

Any updates, Mac? How’s Mrs. Mac doing?

Thanks for checking in, Mac. I’m glad Elena is doing well, but sorry about your kidney stones.

Sorry about the kidney stones, Mac. I thought white privilege protected you from things like that.

Glad Elena is on the mend.

My dad had a kidney stone once. Quite painful.

I once spoke to a Urologist that I met while waiting for a doctor’s appointment. He was also there to see the same doctor, as I remember.

He told me that if people would just drink just a little more liquid, they would NEVER get kidney stones.

I asked him if it had to be water.

He said no, just anything liquid.

I told him I always had a drink of some kind going.

He told me I’d probably never have them.

So far… So good……..

Wish me luck tonite, Gerbils!

At least Harper is coming along again, so their will be a fun element of it all.

of course the flip side of that is that if I don’t stop my liquid drinking at least a few hours before bed, I’ll have to get up a time or two at night. This is not an old age symptom for me. This has been an issue for my entire life.

Still, even if I overdo the liquid at night… no kidney stones… so … small price to pay.

So that fifth of whisky each night should put me in good stead.

Happy Edged-Raccoon Tuesday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning Fatwa, and Sven!

Fatwa -- sword puns at this time of the morning? Sorry, I have no clever riposte to blunt the edge of your puns.

Sven -- what stories the MSM finds important is a mystery.

dv8 -- good luck with your long march route.

And the truth is pretty much what every thinking person thought it would be.

Fatwa Arbuckle: Misanthropologist

Hi, Sven, Paddy and Mac!

Mac --

Very sorry to read about your kidney stone(s); I know from others what a misery they are.

=======================

Getting more ducks in a row for this large job but am starting to dread this trip. It’s more than just being away from SackO’SugarK for so long; it’s all the fucking lawlessness, including by the duly-elected criminals from coast-to-coast.

Plus, doing what we do on residential properties leads to frayed nerves of homeowners / tenants under normal circumstances; I think that’s going to be greatly amplified by everything that’s been going on since February.

Very glad that Jim’s in Camarillo and the jobsite’s in Chatsworth; don’t have to drive through much of L.A. and there’ll be some respite evenings and weekends.

Also quite glad to read Elena’s doing well.

If it’s any comfort, you won’t really be working in Chatsworth. The city of Chatsworth was named for Bernard Thurston Chatsworth III and his grandfather on his mother’s side once crossed the Atlantic on a ship that included a fellow passenger that said, over dinner, that he felt the Negro race was inferior. To promote racial harmony in these troubled times, Los Angeles is changing this city’s name to Obamaville.

Sad “heh”.

Meanwhile, those pernicious, claim-jumping Nazi-like Israelis continue doing what they do best:

So I decided that the route rerouting was too hard to do at this juncture. I used to be okay obsessing over detail work that took hours. I don’t know what happened to me. In any case, I’m going to do the route in the order that it is right now, and see how it goes this morning.

Harper had to reschedule her MS treatment, so I guess she will much more likely be going with me this morning. I’ll try to get as early a start on it as possible.

It should be easier on a tuesday. I probably won’t be a 15 hour shift this morning.

I guess I’m going to try to take a nap now even though I’m not tired. So I’ll be more ready tonight.

Good luck with the route. Having done it once before, hopefully it will be easier.
