Thank you Sven. Sorry to be silent. Elena is doing well, she is getting quite mobile now. I decided I was bored so I am passing another kidney stone. My back has been hurting me for a few weeks and I thought it was stress and work, or the strange bench/couch/ bed thing in the hospital room. Saturday night I recognized the feeling and I understood a few other symptoms I have noticed. My first one was just about four years ago. Saturday night was rough but Sunday evening and night were the worst. I was better Monday morning and on to today. I hope it is done, though it could just be lying low, it did that last time. Can’t complain, it would have been much worse a bit earlier. We see the surgeon Thursday for a follow up. Her range of motion is a bit less than he will want but she is improving every day. It is a relief for me.
of course the flip side of that is that if I don’t stop my liquid drinking at least a few hours before bed, I’ll have to get up a time or two at night. This is not an old age symptom for me. This has been an issue for my entire life.
Still, even if I overdo the liquid at night… no kidney stones… so … small price to pay.

Getting more ducks in a row for this large job but am starting to dread this trip. It’s more than just being away from SackO’SugarK for so long; it’s all the fucking lawlessness, including by the duly-elected criminals from coast-to-coast.
Plus, doing what we do on residential properties leads to frayed nerves of homeowners / tenants under normal circumstances; I think that’s going to be greatly amplified by everything that’s been going on since February.
Very glad that Jim’s in Camarillo and the jobsite’s in Chatsworth; don’t have to drive through much of L.A. and there’ll be some respite evenings and weekends.

Harper had to reschedule her MS treatment, so I guess she will much more likely be going with me this morning. I’ll try to get as early a start on it as possible.
It should be easier on a tuesday. I probably won’t be a 15 hour shift this morning.

My dad had a kidney stone once. Quite painful.
I once spoke to a Urologist that I met while waiting for a doctor’s appointment. He was also there to see the same doctor, as I remember.
He told me that if people would just drink just a little more liquid, they would NEVER get kidney stones.
I asked him if it had to be water.
He said no, just anything liquid.
I told him I always had a drink of some kind going.
He told me I’d probably never have them.
So far… So good……..
