Speaking of cats, Jack Tatum is celebrating his 4th year of living with us. Bought him a nice toy which he has completely ignored. Still, he’s a good boy and we love him.
Couldn’t sleep, so was watching ESPN and the other sport’s talk shows this morning. Man, they have all gone full woke. I don’t think I’ll be watching any NFL this year and I don’t wish them well.

Sven -- I’m glad Jack Tatum has found such a good and loving home.
In re the NFL -- they seem to be doing everything possible to alienate their fans. I wish them the best of luck in that endeavor. We’re looking forward to the start of baseball and sincerely hope that the season isn’t polluted by politics -- other than what the politics of COVID-19 have already wrought.
The Big Route(tm) is still being done by me. It’s not so much of a 15 hour shift now. It seems to be at or under 12, now that I’m familiar with it.
Harper went with me this morning. This time I started the route and worked my way over to our house and then she hopped in.
We managed to finish pretty early. Like before 5 am.
Dreadlocks are done. I did a marathon session last Saturday and finished the last 4 or so. So now i’m in maintenance mode, which is much easier.
When I stream, I put Temp color in my beard and in the front where it shows. Otherwise I look like a mozzarella stick. I make no secret of this on stream.
However, I’m now trying good ole Grecian Formul(tm) Don’t ever let any one say that running a mostly ignored commercial for Fifty years has no effect! It’s a slightly toxic substance, so you can’t use it in your beard, but there is a new beard version that Just For Men has, that works in a similar way, but does not contain lead.
They are both working now that I’ve used it for 5 days, now, i can tell, The beard version looks a bit creepy, I think, but the old Grecian hair one looks okay. The ultimate idea is that it might be even LESS effort than using temporary color.
We’ll see how that goes. If you use your hands to rub it in, WEAR GLOVES. Your fingernails are made of the same stuff as your hair, so even the clear Grecian Formula stuff will stain them.
ALSO: MY internet is STILL out after 5 days. We’ve been using phone tethering and wifi hotspot on verizon. I get a piss poor upstream bandwidth. Normally 400k but considering everyone in my area is relying on their phones or other services, I get maybe 300 upstream. So I use USB to connect to my phone because it is more reliable. I scale down to 360p and 10 frames per second, so It won’t appear so blocky. It’s a good compromise.
I keep getting estimates of when it will be up, and they are never correct. I’m starting to wonder if they will ever get it back up. I hope so, because DSL sucks in my area. (I had it for a little while, and it’s barely better than dialup.
