Thanks for asking, Dv8 -- the weekend was rough as far as the eye went -- this morning was better. Doctor’s appt tomorrow to see (ha!) if the cornea has healed. Based on past experience, I’m going to say “not quite” and expect another bandage on it and more antibiotics.
Lunchtime. Reading riot coverage, I’m surprised and more than a little disappointed, that officers under siege don’t have their body cam recordings made available to the public. Let’s hear the unfiltered shit that these guys are putting up with from, antifa, BLM and their “moms.”
Sorry I didn’t say good morning, Gerbils. Today we managed to get up to Flagstaff for Harper’s MS treatment. Nice to finally get it done. While she was in I bought some work boots. I don’t have any anymore. And I’ve been wearing really the wrong shoes for the Job that I have.
Missed my exit on our way home. That was miserable. I was trying so hard not to have that happen, but it happened anyway. I took the fastest secondary route home, but should have turned around, really. The desert is bleak to me, and I do not enjoy being in the middle of it.
I went to sleep for a couple of hours after we got home, because I was running on inadequate sleep. So I thought I’d pop in and say hi, just in case anyone is up.
I always feel like Mac is lurking even when he’s not actively chatting.
