Hope Sven’s eye is improving, Paddy’s hawk is enjoying a rodent buffet and that Harper -- and the rest of you -- are doing well.
Still having a difficult time de-stressing from L.A.; that’ll probably be easier once we get the final payment and I get my feelthy lucre.

No sign of the Cooper’s Hawk this morning. I hope he comes back for more rats. There’s a big one he hasn’t gotten yet.
I read this morning that California’s COVID-19 test result collection system is all out of whack and giving false results. The solution? Halt all data reporting until they get the problem fixed. Of course that means that nothing can re-open because counties don’t have metrics to compare against the requirements. It almost sounds like this was planned.
Hard to believe that CA could do anything wrong, Paddy. We are the Gold Standard for everything.
On the eye front, it isn’t improving, but rather getting worse. I see my current doctor again next week and he’s recommended getting a second opinion as he’s out of ideas as to effective treatment. There’s plenty of things he could try, but what will work? I have the feeling that some sort of cornea transplant is in my future and I’m sure that will work out just fine. Yeah, right.
I should have made an appointment with this other specialist last week as I’m sure I won’t be able to get in soon, but I put it off. I’m wore out with this. Three procedures this year; at least 16 office visits since March. No pun intended, but I’m in a dark place right now. When my mood improves, I’ll figure out next steps, but that’s not today.
I find it most humorous that the leftie media is talking about the actual data that proves crime rates are not going up and that Trump is using the riots for political gain. Data never matters after any “mass shooting” or during “gun violence” rallies or with police shootings, but it matters now in this case.
It’s just like with the Chinese coronavirus -- studies that bolster the leftist position are reported, those that contradict it are ignored. I guess only some science matters.
Teh bestest place ever announced last week that we won’t be back onsite this year. They are in a pickle. Last year, in order to consolidate all corporate operations and to house future growth, they went out and leased a 5 building campus with the intent of beginning to move last May. Before the Chinese Flu really hit, they had started building an awful close quarters/open office space floor plan, then put that on hold and have since torn it all out and started over.
Working remote has worked OK, but now they have these buildings standing empty. They have to use them, so sooner or later we’ll be heading back.
Still up, Gerbils. What can I say. This is getting to be a habit. I just stay up all night reading stuff on the net.
