Hi, Dv8. No this was planned maintenance on their part and they actually did a good job notifying us and sticking to their schedule. I was up early this morning while the power was still out and it looked like all of us up in the hills were affected.
Just got home from the Big Route. Gotta either sleep again.
BORING.
Or else stay up and try to flip my schedule for the weekend. I think I’d like that.
Like… I’d feel like I was alive. and could get a few things done during the day.
I have to admit. I’m having a bit (meaning a lot) of trouble with that NLP Timeline Therapy my friend did on me.
I keep thinking of the Meteor Strike, The Sun going nova… When I look up at night I see the moon slowly leaving orbit leaving the Earth to wobble back and forth creating an unstable climate.
When I look at the stars, I see the heat death of the Universe. I’m obviously NOT made to look “forward” like a neurotypical person.
This is all, to say the least, most unpleasant. Most disconcerting. I’m having some trouble reframing this. I think I need some help. But who knows what goobellie-gotts in my brain will get screwed up if I ask my friend to try putting it back the way it was and/or “fixing” it.
I feel like It’s a risk either way, although… I can’t imagine it could be worse than it is now.
I should say, I’m managing it okay, but it makes day to day life less pleasant and more cumbersome. Like I’m carrying a big burden. Prayer has been helping to lighten the load. I’ll say that much.

I have not seen details but it seems to me too many of these “peace” deals are forced on Israel so an American President can wave a piece of paper crying “Peace in our time” while Israel must pretend the Muslims are sincere as they use it to kill more Israelis. I hope Trump is better than that. A real agreement would be a good step in the right direction. Israel should not have to trade security for peace.
Remember when it was the job of government to supply the needs of the tax payers instead of forcing the tax payers to use only what they found convenient to supply? I guess I am really old. Do I need the re-education camp?

My gut feeling is it’s fairly legit. I think a lot of governments there have had a bellyful of the troublemakers (Hamas, ISIS, Assad, the Palestinians, etc.) and think that Trump is not the pushover his predecessors have been.
It’d be nice if some peace broke out in that region, but I’m not holding my breath.

That sounds more than a little disconcerting. Most people, when looking at the moon and the stars, just see the moment, not thinking ahead or behind.
