Sorry I’ve been so sparse lately (but I have been looking in) … after so many years working at home, getting back into the morning shower-put-on-makeup-dress-commute-work-all-day-commute is taking me some time to adjust to. It was easier the last time around, but that was a LONG time ago.
Still, it’s good to get out, and the paycheck doesn’t hurt either. But man, I don’t want to do a damn thing once I get home. Maybe grocery pickup isn’t a bad idea after all.

It would be great to have everyone close by. Every Gerbil I’ve had the pleasure of meeting has been warm, generous, genuine, and a pleasure to be around.
I know *I’d* feel considerably less lonely.
Good news on the migraine and extra day off for Harper and Fatwa, I’m sorry your future is clouded by Dr. visits, Sven. I hope it gets better.

TeX!! It’s great to see you. Thanks for checking in. A change in work habits definitely gets harder as the years pass. When I was teaching at a brick and mortar, I’d stay late to get work done, because I knew once I got home, I wasn’t going to get a thing done.

Working on learning a couple of new scripting languages. Why don’t I make it my profession--the world may never know.
