Sure Happy It’s Thursday, Gerbil Nation!

The weather has finally cooled down -- to the mid-80’s. Hopefully the cooler weather will make life easier for Fatwa and the JimCo crew.

Around here, some schools have opened for part-time school, while others are still negotiating with their unions. Meanwhile, parents are clamoring for their kids to go back to school full-time.

Fatwa Arbuckle: Misanthropologist

Drive-by:

Hi, Paddy!

The weather in Encino today was a boon to productivity; teh yay!

I hear the cabbage rose wallpaper is almost finished at CasaK, so you’ve got something to look forward to!

It has come to my attention that more than one of you are giving FuglySofaAndLoveSeatK helpful decorating suggestions at Facebook.

Kindly cease and desist. (You know who you are.)

If I get through the next six days on this project without punching a particular 83-y.o. Russian Jooooo’s lights out, it’ll be a minor miracle. Constantly kvetching about damned near everything.

In re a couple of his complaints, I told him he’s welcome to climb up onto the roof and see the crew are not throwing / dropping heavy objects or doing anything else they ought not be doing. (I’d actually kind of like to find him at the bottom of the ladder with a farking broken neck.)

Worst. JimCo. Job. Evar. (Hot on the heels of the previous holder of that dubious award in July.)

Bah.

BBIAB…gotta go pound some sand.

I’m sure the crew could gently lower all debris to the ground, using appropriate power equipment, thereby relieving Comrade Bitchsky of his vexation. Said power equipment will, of course, make much more noise than the sound of random felt trimmings striking the ground, will add to the cost of the job, and will slow down the work, thereby adding further to the cost of the job. Invite him to write a check for the estimated cost overrun, then offer to drive him to his bank to make sure it clears.

I’m sure that’s what happened, and I’ll stand by your story.
