Hell, Fatwa. Good morning, GN and happy Monday. I haven’t been sleeping well the past week and decided to take today off in an attempt to be productive in other avenues. Or at least to get a nap in without feeling guilty.
Fatwa: what a mess, but good for you and Jim going on offense. Here’s hoping it all works out as it should.
Was wondering about our dear Governor out here in CA -- should the recall prove successful, and given all the negative press Gavin is getting the past couple of weeks it has a better chance than before -- I wonder if a recall ballot will be sent to every voter in CA in the same fashion as the November election, or if Gavin will suddenly decide that it’s safe to back to the polls?
Hi Dv8 -- this past week has just been rough -for the most part, sleeping OK. As far as my eye goes, it’s not as bad as it was but still troublesome. The medical thinking is that it’s not a problem per se, but it and other problems I have are symptoms of an autoimmune disease. So far tho, the easy answers have come back negative as to which one. Mom always said I was special.

Fatwa -- I’m glad Jim is giving you the go-ahead to fire off your response. Sometimes customer service means giving it to them good and hard.
Sven -- sorry about your sleeping problems. Hopefully having some time off this week will help. In re any recall vote, I’m sure Gov Newsom will come up with a response that keeps him in power, such as delaying all elections until further notice.
I’ve been following it, but I couldn’t tell you where it stands either. I do laugh tho whenever I see Biden’s “Office of the President-Elect” logos and such -- he just can’t get away from Obama, can he?
Los Angeles just announced they’re shutting down all dine-in at restaurants including outside dining effective tomorrow…right before Thanksgiving. I cannot figure out the end game here.
I think the end game is the destruction of all small businesses and a greater reliance on government.
But that’s just me.
BTW, a new study published in the journal Nature has found that people who are asymptomatic are simply not infectious, and don’t give the COVID-19 virus to others. I’m sure Democrat governors all over our country will follow this new finding from science.
