Opens up some possibilities for us -- I’d be more excited if my job was more secure.
Starting to rain -- looks like a good 12 hours of heavy rain up next. Flood warnings all evening in our area. On top of that, SoCal Edison is supposed to shut of four power tomorrow on our street only to begin their power pole replacement -- not sure if they’ll still do that, but they did confirm their plans last night.

Who knew the availability of electricity in 2021 would be a crapshoot?
It’s taken me all these years to be confront by my “white privilege” of expecting electrical power at the flick of a switch.
One thing I’ve discovered during the lockdowns is Battlebots on the Discovery Channel. Lot of fun.
