A bit later today, I’ll be taking a pre-owned Outback to PMK’s shop for an inspection. The vehicle is located about a three minute drive from said shop, which is convenient as hell…perhaps too convenient. (That’s my Hebraic fatalism speaking.)
At least with CorporateToolK working from home -- and access to her vehicle nearly any time -- I’m not under any time pressure to find a newer car.
(We were planning to have the fugly Mitsubishi Lancer I’ve been driving the past few years fixed up to give to eldest grandson, but it needed way too much work. I was barely able to drive it home from the shop last month…)
In teh meantime, back to JimCo frivolity and fun; whee!
I’m still confused about virtual currencies, but I guess it has to do with my still not accepting that traditional money anymore isn’t backed with anything -- that it’s all a story that enough of us agree is true. Truth being a lie agreed upon and all that.
I saw my periodontist yesterday -- he’s happy with my progress and says the extreme pain I had was not unexpected given the amount of infection and bone grafts they had to do. I didn’t sleep well last night, but do have a couple of good sleeps under my belt the last week, and my head is less foggy than before, so that’s a plus. Got my second Moderna shot Tuesday too and that gave me a bit of a fever and achiness.
Whoever said getting old ain’t for sissies had it right.
