For those who’ve asked, I’ve used a variety of browsers on both my ‘puters when I’m unable to get here; I probably ought to sort out Tor or something similar one of these days. (Since I don’t really visit any place “dodgy”, I’ve not worried about it; that’s probably foolish on my part.)

While -- given some of the experiences I’ve had, as well as my family history -- I ought not be surprised by it, I’m more than a bit vexed by the number of folks who condemn Joooz for simply defending themselves.
Once again, I sort o’ wish we had a similar reputation to a certain “religion of peace” which shall go nameless. (And I’m really sick of timorous Jewish “leaders” who think we should just STFU and board the cattle cars.)

I really hope the Israeli government takes the opportunity offered by the indecisiveness of our current administration to continue pounding Hamas’ supplies, infrastructure, and personnel.
From a productivity perspective, a waste of time. Nothing settled; no clear direction forward. On the plus side, did get to see several people that I haven’t seen or talked to in along time.
I did get kind of dressed up, too. And no one noticed. Sniff.
What I have to keep reminding myself is that at this stage of my life, I don’t need a career -- I need a job. I need to prepare for some time yet for my next job, but right now a paycheck is my priority. It’s a change in mindset for me.
I see that roving caravans of paleostinians are hunting down Jews on the streets of LA.
I’m sure the Democratic members of Congress who represent that area will be all over this and we’ll see their condemnations any moment now.

I wonder what’s keeping them?
Teh Younger has remarked about that same issue. I told him the 25 minutes assumes you have made the recipe at least ten times before, know exactly what to do at each step, without having to look at the recipe, and have a kitchen crew that has measured out all ingredients into little glass bowls.

In the name of equity, Hamas should have the same number and types of weapons that Israel has. Channeling my inner AOC there.
