Fatwa — I am getting a nice raise, but it’s not clear that there is a separate budget (weird). I think the costs will continue to be handled as general education expenses.

But them gold-plated bathroom fixtures -- not to mention a fancy Japanese turlet, a steam shower, a bidet, etc. ain’t gonna pay for themselves, ya know. Ask the LAUSD execs how they manage to budget such things as general educational expenses. 👿

Did the Long Friday version of the Big Route both days. It was long. And big. Also this evening, I did not feel my best. I felt like I dragged through work. By the time I got started on the Big Route, it was 2 hours later than normal. When I passed my house for a second time, I stopped by home and Harper decided at the last minute to go with me.
Which always feels like I’ve won the lottery.
So that was nice. Some time, maybe a half hour before I got back around to home, I started waking up and feeling normal. Than Harper came with me which made the rest of the route very fun.
Now, I feel wide awake, but I’m going to sleep again, I guess. I’m sure I’m not as rested as I feel. Just some Circadian weirdness, I’m guessing.
It’s Philosophical Feline Friday…teh yay!

Thanks for the well wishes -- we are off! Really looking forward to a plane ride while still under these stupid covid protocols.
Having not flown since last October, I’ll be curious what the current Covid Air Travel Theater is like.
