Spent a good chunk of yesterday catching-up on JimCo admin carp…and fretting about our current adversarial situation. It’s started reminding me of the scam lawsuit carp from almost 18 years ago (even though the current situation is very different).
In our last “legal adventure”, there were a passel of weird things which made no logical sense…until they did. I don’t think the “angle” here is quite so convoluted, but you never know what folks are up to.

Set up my new live amplification rig this afternoon -- except for the small powered subwoofer which is on backorder -- and I’m quite pleased with it. The amplifier itself uses some unique technology which has a bit of a learning curve. But it provides an almost stereo sound from one rather small box. You can actually hear stuff pan from one side to the other. And the “sweet spot” is everywhere that’s further than about 8′ from the amp. The effect even goes around freaking corners, which seems impossible and yet…
“It’s witchcraft…burn it!!!!”
Sound quality-wise, it’s a stunning improvement over the amp I bought 33 years ago. (As well as about 1/4 the size and less than 1/2 the weight.) Really does modern keyboards justice.
Also got a power strip which does “power conditioning” and provides surge protection; sucker weighs just shy of 5 lbs. Well designed and built like a freaking tank.
Been saving-up for this stuff; glad I finally got to pull the trigger.
