Happy scowling character actor Monday, Wheelizens.
Have a bad attitude toward work today, courtesy of HH-A HOA; glad there’s nothing pressing in my inbox. I’m inclined to largely fark-off, as I didn’t get much of a weekend from JimCo stuff.
Also slept poorly; largely due to HH-A-related stress / anxiety / fury.

I was taught the same thing. Inhaling through the nose moistens and warms the air before it hits the sensitive tissues in the lungs and bronchial tubes, while exhaling through the mouth lats the now moist and warmed air moisten and warm the throat tissues which can be dry and cold. It also can let you inhale more oxygen. If you exhale fully, but then purse your lips and blow, you can remove some more air. This air was spent so now when you inhale you take in more fresh air and increase the available oxygen in the same volume of air in your lungs. When stressed or under exertion, I do this automatically and I have found it helpful in the past. I was never good at sprinting or strength, but I could show up many of the jocks on runs of 1 1/2 mile or more, a routine in my senior year. It was rather fun to see them struggle as I was not considered athletic and they really hated coming in behind me. I often came in near the front in those runs. I was used to running in formation, in boots and fatigues, with a 9 1/2 pound rifle, so it really felt like I was weightless. I have a long stride that works well for distance running, if I can avoid running out of breath. It has come in handy on treadmill stress tests.
Happy Horror Monday, Gerbil Nation! Now with moar kittehs!
Good morning, Fatwa, and Sven!
Fatwa -- do what you need to do for your own mental health.
At work we’re transitioning to a new domain and mine was at least partially transferred over the weekend. I’m missing my bookmarks and my calendar needs to be re-set. I can tell this is going to be a process.
Hey Gerbils, Hi Fatwa, Sven, Paddy, and lurkers (ykwya)
Once again on TOR.
Fatwa, your sound system sounds intriguing. I have a big 50watt bluetooth speaker I take to work with me, and it has the capability that if I have two of them they can connect wirelessly together and act as stereo speakers. But I thought getting a second one for a work/warehouse setting was kind of overkill.
Also a while ago, I got a BT interface for my (dad’s) old stereo. I kept it because it’s pretty awesome, so all it needed was a way to interface with smartphones or tablets.
I even have a feeling Mac and Jerry might be lurking. I hope X_LA is doing okay. It was nice to have her back for a while. She’s so fun and such a great writer.

Slow deep breaths. In through the nose. Out through the mouth. That’s what my guru taught me back when I was in the guru stage of my life anyway : )

Good morning, GN -- and here’s hoping your day gets better, Fatwa.
Hope everything is going well with you Sven. Hope you’re feeling better, all the wheelies past and present are always in our prayers.

Happy recreating every single entry by hand day, Paddy : )
