Got a call yesterday informing me that the powered sub-woofer which was on backorder possibly until September was now in-stock and would “ship today”. Just looked-up the tracking number and it is indeed en route.
I reckon it’ll turn-up Tuesday or Wednesday, after which CasaK might get a leetle bit noisy as I get everything properly tweaked. 👿

We’ve been celebrating the 4th with Pete and Cindi for over 30 years. It’s going to be strange to not be doing something with them this year. Pete isn’t up to it yet, which I can understand. Pete has asked Mrs. Paddy to give the eulogy. She’ll start on that this weekend.
A weird flash from the past. Was searching old emails for a dip recipe and came across some other emails that mentioned Dipsy and Denny Crane -- I had completely forgotten about them and that they went off the rails. I don’t remember the details, just the names. Not asking for a rehash, it just struck me odd.
I still shake my head today when I think back only 15 years or so, that SWMNBN was an anomaly exhibiting behavior beyond the norm that most everyone condemned. Today, no one would give her a second glance or they’d celebrate her -- she was just a few years ahead of the times with nuttiness. If she’s still in prison, that must rub her raw.
She’s still in prison, but is eligible for parole in December (I think). If she’s paroled, that would mean she served about one year of her 7 year sentence.
The papers were late and the mail took forever, and It seemed like I’d never get done inside even just to get started. But I finally did at around 3:00 am. Harper wanted to go along, but was not feeling well enough, so I was all alone. I finished around 7:30am

I remember both Dipsy and Denny. They were both fun. I never saw or got involved in any of the drama and just remember them both fondly.
Glad you got your truck fixed. If it’s still running well, you can be happy with how much money you saved.
I didn’t buy a new TV last xmas for the same reason. My old one with a roku stick and a laptop attached is still working just fine.
