Read that Sheriff Villanueva stated his deputies will not enforce the latest L.A. County face diaper mandate. While I concur with his stance, I think there will be a large uptick in assaults there against unmasked people. And that things there are gonna get very much uglier than they already are.
Kind o’ glad I have no reason to travel there as of this writing (although I am sorry we won’t be doing Phase II of HH-A HOA; the extra income would have been nice).

Ultimately, I must blame the citizenry -- in aggregate -- for all of the current unpleasantness in our country; stupid, lazy bastards. Our Founders understood that an educated populace would be required to keep the republic intact…and we are, sadly, a collective of dumbasses at this time.
It seems more and more likely that we’re going to learn the harsh reality of the adage “you can vote yourself into communism but you’ll have to shoot your way out”.

I’m just glad that the county I live in hasn’t decided to go back to mandating worthless facemasks. I hope there is widespread resistance in LA county.

Watching the Sunday cable shows today, several comments about “misinformation” and how it’s Trump deplorables that are refusing to get vaccinated. We had dinner last night with two friends, both of whom are union members working in the movie industry in Los Angeles. Their union surveyed its members asking if they would get vaccinated or not as several agreements between the studios and their insurance carriers insist that all workers be vaccinated. The results? It’s a 50/50 split between those that say they will get or have been vaccinated and those that won’t or have serious concerns about it. The movie industry, even down to the grunt level, is hardly a hotbed of Trump supporters.
I’ve been watching my favorite deplatformed or partially deplatformed creators on Rumble lately. Threre is a rumble app for roku. And trump appeared there and got half a million subs in one day. But I can watch all 4 of styxhexenhammer666’s videos as well as Salty Cracker. DuckHK is totally off YouTube, so all his stuff is on rumble as well as BitChute and other platforms.
I might get a freedom phone. Or put pineOS on my phone. Not for the privacy issues but for the censorship issues. I really don’t care about my usage data being used to drive ads. It’s expected and all over the net. But when I can’t get the app I want on this google shit equipment, that pisses me off. FreedomOS is simply a port of mobile linux, just like Android is, and so can doubtless run android apps. But It’s appstore will allow Dissenter and Gab and uncrippled browsers. $500 bux or 150 for a knockoff.
Honestly it would be fine with me if they could add an uncensored app store on an android phone. But this is probably better.
Using a phone with PineOS linux is probably even better for privacy. Android is simply a mobile Linux. There are others. They are pretty solid these days.
