There’s something wrong about the way that man looks when he eats ice cream. Like he’s attacking the biggest chore he’s been given all day.

You hit the proverbial nail on the head with that observation, Miss Harper. I watched some of his townhall thingie last night and he’s the same way getting his thoughts out of his head and then out of his mouth in some coherent fashion. The man is not all there and it’s far past time for everyone to acknowledge that.

If Biden was my father or any other person for that matter, I’d sympathize and applaud his efforts and do what I could to help, but he’s not: he’s the POTUS and it’s damn awful what his wife and those in power are doing to him. If Biden has any sense left in him, he ought to resign. And those in power ought to be looking at removing him from office should he not do so.

Hi, Fatwa.

Fatwa Arbuckle: Misanthropologist

Hi, Sven!

And those in power ought to be looking at removing him from office should he not do so.

Perhaps so. But even many Dems understand that Kamala the Kop would be far worse as POTUS. And I think they’re already worried about the mid-terms…as they should be.

Would a Harris Presidency be worse than a Biden one? Maybe, but that’s the way the cards were dealt.

Good peeping-possum morning, All!

I was most surprised to be greeted in Irish Gaelige by you this morning, Fatwa. I use it so seldom these days that I had to check my spelling, go raibh maith agat. It’s always a joy.

Sven, delightful to see you, Sir. I hope you are well. How are things on the autoimmune front? Has your diagnosis facilitated any better treatments for your eye problems, etc?

I used to believe that the way POTUS was being used by his wife and those around him was elder abuse and it distressed me a great deal. Upon greater reflection I’ve come to feel that Joe Biden has always been such a political creature he probably agreed to this treatment with his whole heart when his decline first became evident. It’s not hard to imagine that he would agree to any kind of shenanigans that helped his party vision and brought in any extra measure of money to his family and party feeling it was his patriotic and familial duty. I could, of course, be completely wrong but I can at least see these motivations and, even though I don’t believe it’s right, understand it without thinking they’re all Hitler.

Joe Biden has always wanted to be the smartest person in the room, which is why he plagiarizes from only the best. In this clip from Clarence Thomas’ SCOTUS confirmation hearing (skip to 0:35), Joe clearly sees himself as the intellectual equal of Justice Thomas and wants everyone else to know that. When asked about this as part of the documentary on Justice Thomas, Thomas replied that he had no idea what Joe was talking about.

I feel the same way about Biden as you, Miss Harper. I don’t know if last year he had the cognitive ability to agree or not, but either way I’m sure he jumped in with both feet. I’m also sure it will come out in the book a few years from now as well as the motion picture and HBO documentary on Joe’s heroism and self-sacrifice.

On the AID issue, still struggling but so it goes.

And wonderful to see you as well.

Sure Happy It’s Thursday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa, Sven, dv8 (and Harper!)!

Mac -- I knew you had that bean image in your files!

Sven -- I think the powers-that-be in the Dem party are realizing what a mistake it was to put Harris on the ticket. That’s why the Left has released the stories of how miserable she is to work for. They can’t keep Biden propped up forever and they don’t want the first woman president to be an unmitigated disaster and a Dem to boot. Now they have to figure out how to extricate themselves from this mess that they’ve created. How they’re going to do that, I have no idea. I honestly didn’t think Slow Joe would make it this far into his term.

Right! Isn’t Nancy Pelosi next in line should Kamala fall down the stairs?

Gulp. That’d be the tardyve dyskinesia presidency

Yes, Nancy is next in line after Kamala. That’s an even scarier thought. Talk about authoritarian!

Paddy’O and Gentle Mac, thank you for the nice beans!!! I feel like such a good gerbil@!!

I loved seeing little Hamtaro scrubbing his poor little eyes yesterday. So cute!

A Kamala presidency would be scary…her running around proving stuff all over the place. Talk about “I’m king of the world” syndrome!

Is she “tough” enough to bomb _____ country? News at 11pm.

Is she really a tough cop? Can she drink all night with the guys on the 5 eyes at a conference and then drone Americans in the Med the next morning? News at 11pm.

They’ll use her hubris to push her around. She already cackles like a madwomen, she’ll just laugh instead of explaining herself and just careen from one outrageous situation to the next because each and every thing she does has to be something extraordinary and record setting.

Good night, dear friends. I hope you have a good day today. A little mischief, plans to dodge the dour coworkers, etc. No more dreadful training sessions.

If the sulfuric acid is in a dark container do not whistle at it or tell it it is attractive. If it is in a light container it’s not sulfuric acid it’s Hitler.

You’re welcome.

Drive-by:

Hey, various and sundry Gerbils!

Would a Harris Presidency be worse than a Biden one?

I think so. In no small part due to her being simultaneously black, brown and having a vajayjay. Literally everything she does -- including loudly breaking wind from the podium in the middle of a presser -- will be “the most historically historic event in the history of history!”. (Er, “herstory”.)

Which will put her effectively beyond any legitimate criticism on matters of importance..

Plus, she’s the worst kind of power-abusing statist goon, as her tenure as CA’s Attorney General made very clear.

I was most surprised to be greeted in Irish Gaelige by you this morning, Fatwa.

TBH, I was just looking for something to riiff off of my lame “O’Possum” gag with and abused the intertoobz (as I am wont to do).

…Joe clearly sees himself as the intellectual equal of Justice Thomas and wants everyone else to know that.

Which is high hilarity coming from a phrenic flyweight like Plugz McChooChoo…even when his mentis was still relatively compos.

Now they have to figure out how to extricate themselves from this mess that they’ve created.

Yup…and it’s a bit late for that.

Is she really a tough cop?

Nah…just a none-too-bright corrupt one.

Feyd-rautha Harris

Actual, RW LOL.

Last week for no really good reason, conservative Larry Elder was left off the ballot to replace Newsom in our recall election. Yesterday, a judge ruled in his favor and he’s back on. A lot of staunch conservatives prefer somebody else, but Elder has the name recognition and perhaps the chops to take this thing. It’s not great or even very good odds that he does so -- it’s more likely that Newsom isn’t recalled -- but given the rise in Covid cases and govt crackdowns, mask mandates in public schools, likely power outages due to heat, fires, and drought issues over the next two months, Newsom ought to be nervous.

I’ve been following some of the coverage of FBI involvement in both the 1/6 protests and the dastardly plot to kidnap Gretchen Whitmer. It reminds me of Ruby Ridge and Randy Weaver’s initial entrapment by a paid FBI informant, but also of the terrible Hutaree Militia insurrection efforts during the Obama years. I’m surprised that none of the media are looking back at that ballsup of a federal case as comparison to the Whitmer affair cuz they sound awfully similar.

“Much of the evidence against the six men and one woman consisted of audio and video recordings made by an undercover agent and a paid informant who infiltrated the group.”
