Did a little work on the front sprinkler system this morning, before it gets too hot. Teh Older and I are watching Olympic baseball -- USA vs. Israel. He has Fridays off and I needed to take a day off this month, so this is it.
Sven -- thanks for the link to the article and the report. It’s interesting to look at the percentage of agencies that arrested out-of-state and paid protestors, along with the very low percentage of agencies that used CS gas, pepper spray, pepper balls, etc. The data shows that police agencies were very restrained in their use of force. It also shows that they were unprepared for Hamas-style tactics.
On the plus side, it shows that POTUS is able to read cursive, understand a statement, and take action. On the other hand, it gives more credence to the “my butt was wiped” interpretation of what he said the other day.
In the olden days it would have been “Did someone say “amphetamine?”

What I like about reports like this one is that they have facts. Timelines. Numbers. And it’s clearly written. It’s not about feelings or bullshit.
