I’ll be curious to see the response of Mr. Adjuster and his employer to our Friday “nastygram”. Best case scenario is if their legal department agrees JimCo acted responsibly and is blameless. But it’ll probably take some time before we hear back from them.

Got a very terse acknowledgement late Friday that our nastygram was received; I suspect Mr. Adjuster read it before emailing me. 👿

The left is coming out guns blazing in their effort to keep Newsom as governor. One reason for their fear is Dianne Feinstein -- she’s old and could drop dead at any moment. In CA, the governor appoints a replacement and her term doesn’t end until 2024. A non-Dem governor could throw a wrench into the Senate by appointing a non-Dem replacement.
Rabbit went by Emma Rabin on Facebook. She was not at all comfortable on Facebook and her last post was in 2010 when Miss Emily passed, but I did see she “Checked IN” at Buford, Georgia in December 15, 2019, which is after her last post here. I don’t know anything more. BW has no recent posts either. I will try to contact Penny, but I don’t think she has heard from Rabbit for a long time either.
So many old names and memories. When I was digging through records last night looking for contact information, came across Colleen, Shamrock, and others.

It has been so long that I didn’t have Teh Squeak in my bookmarks any more.
Yesterday my sister called me to tell me that her son has stage IV renal cancer and it is in his lymph nodes. But so far not in his brain or bones. He starts infusion treatments on Friday. The good news is that it is at M D Anderson in Houston.
In the time that I’ve been away, BW’s youngest sister “Sis” died.
BW almost died last December. Her colon burst & she became septic during the day when she refused to go to the hospital. She thought she had “The vomiting virus”, I finally got her to go to the hospital after I could not get her pulse or vitals. Anyway she had emergency surgery and was in the hospital 17 days. She lived with a colonostomy until it was successfully reversed late June of this year. This time she was in for about 5 days.
So, now you can see that I am out of sorts today
I appreciate the efforts to track me down.
I have missed y’all & will hop on again soon.
Ironically, BW & I are going up to Winstar in the morning.
The very best to you both. I hope you have a great time. I think that might be where Elena and her family go. I am glad BW pulled through. Best thoughts for your nephew.

Harper and I were away for some years, but about a year ago, I got up the nerve to check in and was happy to find some of us still here. X_La even started showing up for a while, though it’s been some months now since she’s checked in.

Or did that pesky Vortex at WinStar ™ open up and propel you into the future? Stay away from teh Space-Time Vortexes They may seem like they’re all fun and games, but they have mostly ill intent, so I hear.
by the way, we have been having some DNS problems on tehsqueak.com for a while ever since a wordpress update that happened a while ago. Sometimes the wheel will appear offline, for me and fatwa, anyway. We have to switch to our smartphones or use TOR browser or some other method when our regular broadband fails to find the site.
I just snitched the SoFi Stadium to the LA County Dept of Health for their flagrant mask violations over the weekend. No one is above the law or a mandate or an emergency declaration or an edict when it comes from the govt., damnit.
How far we have fallen -- negotiating with the Taliban to stay past the end of the month to get our people out. How about just saying we’ll leave when we have everybody out -- deal with it -- and prepare our own military for that contingency.
