While I’ve not been able to follow the Rittenhouse trial too closely this week, it sure seems like attorneys on both sides have not precisely ennobled themselves or their, ahem, profession.
I guess it all boils down to the judges instructions and the jury, now. I really feel for that kid for a lot of reasons and don’t think he did anything wrong (and that he did a lot right)…especially given the utter failure of all the “civil authorities” in Kenosha and Wisconsin whose #1 sworn job is to protect everyone’s individual rights.
While one could honestly -- though perhaps not easily -- debate the “Ought Kyle have been where he was and doing what he was doing?” issue, it sure seems like he’s being railroaded to obfuscate the complete and total dereliction of duty by local and state government officials.
I can only hope that Rittenhouse walks…but even if he does, his problems are far from over.

I would like to think that the defense side is working 20 hour days this weekend prepping for Monday, but I kind of doubt it. They really need to make one last run at getting those last minute images derived from last minute never before seen or known about drone video disallowed and the charge of provocation that those images reportedly show removed.
