As was noted yesterday, our media / pundit class was awfully quiet about the verdict in the Andrew Coffee IV trial, which seemed to have been a fair one which doesn’t support “the narrative”.
Was glad to see it still got covered and that the story -- sorta -- got out.
While I don’t take the wee corner of Twitter where I sometimes hang-out as being “statistically significant”, it sure seems that some “liberals” got red-pilled in the aftermath of the Rittenhouse verdict in terms of all the outrageous spin the media pushed from the git-go.
Facts like the “victims” all being white, that KR did not transport his rifle across state lines, that he was legally able to possess it in WI and had many family members -- and a job -- in Kenosha and so forth.
Not a huge shift, but of some importance nonetheless. More skepticism is not a bad thing.
Windy out here today -- a Santa Ana event into tomorrow. Hitting 45mph gusts and under the usual threat of losing power. Other than that, life is good.
A blessed Sabbath, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa, and Sven!
As Sven noted, there are Santa Anas in the air. We’ll have about a 20 degree jump in temperature from yesterday.
Mrs. Paddy made up a big pot of Jerry’s Cincinnati Chili last night. It was excellent, as always. Sometimes I forget how good that Mediterranean blend of spices can be.
It seems like you can go all year without hearing anything out of Wisconsin and now two major stories in less than three days. I hope it’s just a weird coincidence.
Puppeh Pal Sunday greetin’s, GN!
