That’s just got to be in eastern europe somewhere….
I have no idea of that photo’s origin; it could be ‘Shopped for all I know (but I don’t think so).
I does cause me to ponder whether that was part of the original blueprint or installed later…it’s so freakin’ random. Like someone penciled-in “ADD TURLET HERE” with an arrow and nobody questioned it.
We made some good progress yesterday getting our garage in order -- threw out a bunch of stuff and gave some away. Back to that today. Other than that, a quiet day is planned.
Paddy: thanks for the video yesterday -- although it was cats, entertaining and quite well done.
Teh Yay™ for garage-tidying; hope it goes well today, too.
Maaaaan…I ate something yesterday which is, erm, snakin’ my downspout this morning. Glad I don’t have anywhere I need to go. (Well, except there…glad it’s not halfway up / down the stairs.)
A blessed Sabbath and 2nd Sunday of Advent, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, dv8 (and Harper!), Fatwa, and Sven!
Sven -- congrats on getting the garage organized. We finally got Mrs. Paddy’s car in the garage a while back and now I’m fighting to keep the hounds of disorganization and clutter at bay.
On a brighter note, Teh Older proposed to his girlfriend last night and they are now engaged! He asked for her father’s blessing beforehand, and I’m sure that scored him so points with her family.
Jim was enormously tickled when his daughter’s now-husband asked him before proposing. (He’s a good lad from a nice TX family; Jim actually likes his SiL and in-laws, which is a fine thing.)
Great news, Paddy. My best wishes to them. The first time I really met Elena’s parents was when I asked for her hand. We had put it off for some months because they were concerned her father’s blood sugar was running high, so she had agreed and her mother knew and approved, but we did not make it official until I asked her father. Her sisters came into the living room with champagne as soon as Papa gave his blessing, so it was obviously agreed before hand. It is a good tradition, though awkward with a language barrier.
My respects to your son for doing it right. Not at all surprised given his parents, of course. I hope the two families get along well.
Thanks, Mac. We’ve never met her parents. They lived about 45 minutes away at first and are now in Charleston. Teh Older gets along fine with them, so I don’t see any reason why we won’t.
Happy BroPaw Sunday.
Maybe we’ll both make it to church this morning. I’m hoping so.
Good morning, Dv8 -- I’ve been remiss as well about attending church.
Sunday greetin’s, GN!

Garages are the perfect example of entropy increasing.
Congratulations to your son and his future wife!
Oy…you ain’t kiddin’.
