For those that don’t know, a “SPAC” is basically a paper public corp that has no assets. whose sole purpose is to merge with a private company. They usually have 2 years to raise their goal amount and then they do a merger.
The advantage with a SPAC is that because the initial public company has no messy assets,it’s just a paper corporation, it’s much easier to take it public. Finance guys usually have several SPACs ready to go to jump on opportunities like this.
My understanding is that once the merger is completed, the merged company will change it’s ticker symbol to whatever, eg: RMBL, for example.
Anyway, I find this kind of exciting. This is big money going into a free speech platform!
Maaaan…that would seem to hugely undermine the primary purpose of clock-punching. But what do I know?
I’ve found that a lot of Waddlemart / Sam’s house branded products are good price-performers. IMO, GV French Fried Onions are vastly better than French’s and Durkee’s…not over-salted and taste like -- wait for it -- real French fried onions. Agree re the salsa verde.
Lidl opened a location very near the house a few months back; many of their house branded products are also decent price-performers along with some good prices on name brand items. They also occasionally stock some really good half-sour pickles.
Lidl ain’t T.J.s…but they’re also not a 30-40-minute drive.
Lazy day on-tap here at CasaK; not planning on getting out of my jammies. (Which will be needed as the next few nights are forecast to be in the low 30s.)
BBL.

Happy Caturday (or is it?), Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, dv8 (and Harper!), and Fatwa!
dv8 -- interesting information on Rumble. Thanks for sharing.
I’ve got to run out to the T-Mobile store today to see if they can fix an issue I’m having with not receiving some text messages. Later, Teh Older and I will put up the Christmas lights, then put up the Christmas tree. Tonight we’ll decorate it.
I had to run out to Lowe’s to buy more lights for the tree. We have three reels of 300 lights each, all the same brand, all warm white. Two of the reels are the same, the other is whiter (hotter). I found more of the hotter ones and picked up another 600, so we have 900 lights that match. Yes, we like lots of lights on our tree.
So…..

You’re welcome. I just thought it was interesting.
Still haven’t put up any decorations. I brought down one box but it’s still sitting on the living room floor.

Sounds like LED lights are great for you.
Yes, they are!
I like them a lot, both for the house and for flashlights.
I just had to save this
I liked it.
