Man, was it windy last night! And hot! And dry! It was 71°F at 7:00 a.m.
There’s a brush fire in Laguna Beach that started early this morning. They’ve closed down a stretch of PCH in the area and canceled school. I hope they are able to get it under control before it gets too big.
Was up at my regular time today but awoke in a profoundly foul, angry mood which I didn’t wish to inflict on friends. Most of my JimCo tasks today are not improving my usually-sunny disposition.

Hope your boy was able to (at least partially) mitigate his Charleston flight snafu.
Just did an errand run and got some spicy hate chicken (aka Chick-Fil-A) sammies on my way home. Maaaaan, they deliver consistently delicious chicken efficiently and personably.
Still feeling pissed-off, but at least my belly’s full right now.

From the live aerial footage, it looks like they’ve gotten the fire knocked down and are just hitting the hot spots.
