How long does it take to send a form email saying “we got your money and Demand; here’s what to expect next”?
You’d think an organization which folks don’t turn to until a situation has deteriorated enough to file a Demand might provide a modicum of customer service to an already-aggrieved party who just coughed-up a nice chunk of change…but you’d be wrong.
One hopes their performance will improve, but one is not terribly optimistic.
Marvin Heemeyer did nothing wrong…aside from failure to plan a better “exit strategy”.

Fatwa -- you and JimCo just can’t catch a break (or proper functioning agency), can you? They must feel that there’s no need for customer service in their industry -- along with no competition.
The end of last year, Jim filed with another arbitration company our attorney recommended over AAA. They rejected our Demand for bullshit reasons which made no sense…and I’m not done with them. But they’re not currently a priority.
At least they told us to piss off prior to cashing Jim’s check; that was good of them.
Too bad vigilantism isn’t more socially acceptable these days. 👿

You would hope on that rule, but somehow I doubt it will be complied with. It will be all about evil guns and Brandon will point to this to push through his bullshit gun control measures even if the shooter is an illegal alien arrested and released 8 times.
Shooter is described as a black man -- so that rules out the white supremacist story. Sad.
Interesting that they are saying that this is not an act of terrorism even though it bears all the hallmarks of terrorism: preparation, smoke bombs, random shooting through the smoke.

Hadn’t heard about NYC until I saw your post. A quick search yielded that 13 people were injured and that there were “undetonated devices”.
