Oh. That was a sausage?

Happy morning, GN!

Happy “Kitteh Hides Teh Sausage” Wednesday, GN!

Hiya, Sven!

If the media is to be believed (and they’re probably not), the NYC subway suspect is a black nationalist. And the FBI had dealings with him and decided back in 2019 that, “Meh…not a problem.”

Guess he didn’t have any dirt on Trump. 👿

=======================

Had this unfortunate juxtaposition in my Twatter feed yesterday:

Hi, Fatwa -- on the plus side, the shooter apparently had “high-capacity” magazines and that’s something, however it is defined, that Brandon has decided is a huge problem. He can run on that. Now if that .380 is a “ghost gun” then that will almost make up for the fact that the guy is black.

My feeling is that the suspected shooter isn’t really the shooter. It was really some white guy in blackface who is framing the black guy. That’s why they haven’t been able to find him already.

Good morning. Big route and previous night’s work went ok.

I did a fair amount of talking to a coworker which wasted an appreciable bit of time. But still came in under 12 hours total, so… all in all… not bad.

Hi, Dv8 -- 12 hours is still along shift, but I guess you are used to them by now.

yup. It’s when then get to over 14 hours that I start to have a problem.

Even so, I did leave some recycling for tomorrow night instead of having to do it in the morning sun.

Ironically though, that’s the reason a standard days is called a “9 to 5” even though nobody has worked that shift for a long time. Yes, if you’re old enough to remember… lunch used to be included in your pay. There were no “unpaid” breaks.

So essentially, the old corporate shift was 35 hours, plus 5 lunch plus coffee breaks. You could smoke at your desk.

Happy Wednesday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Sven, Fatwa, and dv8 (and Harper!)!

If the FBI were given the crime scene in the thread pic, they’d blame it on White Nationalists and concoct a plan to have the kitteh kidnapped to divert attention away from the kitteh and onto said White Nationalists.

dv8 -- glad the Big Route went well and you were able to keep it under 12 hours.

Fatwa Arbuckle: Misanthropologist

Drive-by:

Hi, Paddy and dv8 (and Harper!!1!)!

Read earlier in some UK paper that the NYC subway perp left their weapon, a credit card (allegedly) used to rent the U-Haul (allegedly) connected with the attack plus the damned truck key behind along with a bunch of other stuff.

Are criminals dumb? Yeah, many are. But -- if true -- this seems awfully sketchy. Paddy’s scenario seems more likely to be accurate. 😉

It was really some white guy in blackface who is framing the black guy.

A “white Hispanic” guy?

It was probably the Joooos, since we’re so magically pernicious.

If you watch the videos that people like Andy Ngo have been collecting of this guy, he’s a flat out racist and if any white guy said any of the stuff this guy screams, he’d be banned, fired, and probably arrested just for his words.

Hilarious that pundits and poiticos are praising the citizen that called in a tip after seeing the guy. “See something; say something” like police always respond to those types of things. Sure they do…

Citizen: “I see a guy selling drugs on my corner.” Click
Citizen: “There’s a guy walking down the street muttering to himself and waving his arms around.” Click
Citizen: “I’m trying to eat lunch and I’m surrounded by people yelling at me that black lives matter.” Click

I used to go shooting in a canyon near Wrightwood that was controlled by BLM.
One day a carload of people drove up to the far end of the canyon. A while later we heard what sounded like automatic weapons fire. It could have been one of those trigger attachment things, but who knows. A little while later, a CHP unit drives through and stops to chat with everyone along the way. We mention the rapid-fire sounds from up the canyon and he decides it would be best if he left to meet up with some back-up units. We continued shooting for a few more hours and never saw the CHP return.

More recently, out near Glen Helen raceway, some people notified the CHP of what sounded like gunfire. The CHP met with the people who called it in, heard the sounds, and decided that it would be best handled by the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department. Deputies found an illegal rifle range.
