Good morning,

Fatwa is still in Gerbil Jail, probably for his outrageous comments about Paris Hilton, but sent this along:

Halloo teh Nation!

Still having (DNS?) issues and cannot reach TehSqueak.

We’re maintaining; Brenda mostly okay as of this writing and in largely good spirits.

HH-A wants to do mediation prior to arbitration; Mr. Attorney told them there’s nada to mediate as our position will not change…but they’re welcome to run up both sides’ lawyer bills.

Hope all of you are well…or better!

tell fatwa, he can use his phone and turn off wifi and use cell data, and the wheel will probably work. Or of course there’s a TOR/Onion browser. that always “works” too, although you might not be able to get the photobucket stuff.

Happy Tuesday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Sven!

I never knew koala’s had a flappy ear spot.

Sven -- thanks for the update on Fatwa and Brenda.

One of our contracting agencies sent out an email asking about payment for invoices for December and February. I had to tell them that if they don’t send me the invoices, they won’t get paid.

Ol’ Brandon must be giddy giving a gun grab with white supremacist overtones speech. I wonder if Ultra MAGA will make an appearance. Now the Dems got two things to latch on to in time for the election: guns and abortion.

did you notice that the “Manifisto” was a “copypasta” from the NZ shooter in 2019?

I noticed it right away.

The murderer is an avowed authoritarian Leftist, but the media conveniently ignores his political affiliation.

Huh. I thought today was Tuesday, but I was only partially correct. Thanks, Brandon!

I’m confused. I thought we were told that homosexuality was not a choice, but an in-born trait. Now we’re told that you can choose your sexuality and change that choice on a day-by-day, minute-by-minute basis. So which is it? Weren’t we also told that gender traits are just societal constructs? And that there are no differences between men and women? If that’s the case, then how can someone feel they were born into the wrong body? All bodies are the same. How can they feel they are the wrong gender? There are no differences between the genders. Obviously then, there is no need for puberty blockers or cross-sex hormone treatments, let alone surgery, because gender is just a state of mind. Honestly, don’t these people read their own propaganda?

So which is it?

Sheesh, don’t be so binary.

The understanding of these matters in the Hellenist world is much more cogent then where we are today or even centuries past. Their understanding was, of necessity, very organic, because observation and cognition were essentially the only tools they had. Therefore, their descriptors are highly accurate and their understanding correlates much more tightly with observable reality.

It’s a deep dive, and very fascinating, but I warn you, it’s quite a rabbit hole.

Well… It’s getting to be that time again.

I went into work earlier to see what I could do with the mail machine.

Last night, toward the end of the mail run, the machine’s takeup reel stopped turning.

I found the band turning it was broken, could not find another band, Also would have to pull the synchronous motor to replace it anyway.

So I improvised a new band out of rubber bands which I could thread around the two reels and then tie off so I didn’t have to remove the motor.

It seems to be working. We’ll see how it goes tonight.

Fatwa Arbuckle: Misanthropologist

Drive-by:

Just found out I haz access again…yay!

Maybe it’s time to change my gender fluid.

Har…I;m stealing that.

dv8 --

Bummer about the mail machine; hope the rubber bands hold long enough. (Could you possibly use zip ties?)

Brenda had a bit of a bumpy day but is doing pretty well right now.

Without posting too long a screed, I continue ti be pleased with Mr. Attorney. HH-A is insisting on mediation prior to arbitration; lawbaw said our demands won’t change, but if they want to spend more money…

Concluded letter with, “Please proceed accordingly.”

See ya tomorrow, iffen I’m lucky.
