BK’s still asleep, so I don’t know how she’s doing this morning. (Pretty sure if I woke her to enquire, her response would be “annoyed”…or worse.). 😉
If you have some swampy property, or a large pool for them to relax in, they can be good pets. But you need to keep them in pairs as they are social animals, and be ready to deal with a 170 lb. rodent (or two of them).
Happy Hundred Pound Rodent Tuesday, GN!

Happy Capy Tuesday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa!
Fatwa -- do not poke the bear. No matter how much fun it may seem at the moment -- do not poke the bear.
Wisdom!
Good morning, Fatwa, Paddy, and Mac. Do capybaras make good pets?

More trouble than cats, but not by much.
Ok well, I don’t know what to write today.
I want to learn to make Taquitos. With the two corn tortillas and the seasoned beef and pico and cillantro, and stuff.
I don’t believe my life will be complete until I know how to make those.
Use a toothpick to hold the tortilla closed when you fry them. Pan frying works just as well as deep frying, although it does take a bit longer.
The easiest way is to just take them out of the box in freezer and pop them in the microwave.
