Hope your eye experiment yielded useful results last night.

Safe journeys.
BK update: physically feeling sorta “okay” this morning, but that’s offset by getting the runaround from Cigna / New York Life re some time-critical benefits paperwork. Spent an hour on the phone last night and nearly the same already this morning getting nowhere.
Her fucking “case manager” is a useless bint who never returns calls. Not a good situation.
Hi, Fatwa -- hope that you’ll be able to work out the insurance bullshit without too much more trouble and that Brenda progresses towards a better “okay” day.
Not much good rest overnight, but no incidents. I’ll try this new eye ointment on both eyes tonight and see what happens.
As an update, I got a new pair of glasses that I can use when my vision is blurry, so that might help. Heh. Since my vision changes day-to-day over a period of several days, I probably need several pairs of glasses.
Sheesh, another hot, miserable day weather-wise. On the plus side, my state is still controlled by dems fighting against climate change to save the planet.
Happy Corn Dog Tuesday, Gerbil Nation!
Good evening, Fatwa, Sven, and dv8 (and Harper!)!
Fatwa -- I hope BrendaK is doing better and that the insurance troubles have been defeated.
Sven -- I’m sorry that your eyes are still giving you trouble. I hope you can find something that works well for you.
The retreat went well and most people agreed that moving it from the end of the school year to the beginning was the right choice. We had a couple of the usual team-building exercises that a few of us have done so many times that we no longer give much attention to and a couple of remote presentations by outside agencies that made me want to hit the bar, no matter that it was before lunch. The first was by someone with ADOS (Attention Deficit -- Oh! Squirrel!), the second by someone who should have been selling sleeping pills. Other than those issues, it was very successful and I took advantage of the opportunity to speak with a number of people regarding tasks we will be collaborating on or where our work intersects. The weather and the food were also great.
Hey, Wheelizens!

Where can I buy those? Mrs Sven would love a set.

Somehow I lost a couple of days.
Making some more bone broth. Got great ingredients this time.
