Teh Squeaky Wheel
It’s Automotive Trash Panda Friday!
And labs day -- but no infusion -- for Brenda. (Who’s been having a rough week, but not quite so bad as the first week after her initial “big infusion”.)
No HH-A news; still waiting for an update from the American Arbitration Association on certain administrative matters.
I wonder how the midterms will actually turn out.
We’ll likely never know for certain, as -- IMO -- the voting process is extremely untrustworthy.
Hope the O’Fs and Svens don’t have a bad time with the heatwave this weekend.
Coons are helpers -- you’ll never see a cat do that.
Good morning, Fatwa -- hoping that Brenda has an OK weekend and for good news from any lab reports.
Supposed to be a couple degrees cooler today, but during the night, the winds really picked up. Have to see what happens when the sun rises. So far we have power and no fires.
Happy Helpful ‘Coon Friday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa, and Sven!
Fatwa -- prayers for good test results for BK, and also for some positive movement from the AAA on your case. Maybe you could send one of those Ass Cream Cakes to HH-A HOA.
Speaking truth to power.
I’m stumped -- I thought fer sure this would have gotten a least a comment from Mac if not an outright ban.
Maybe Mac just naturally discounts anything Sponge Brain Sh!ts Pants says.
Not a good sign -- 5-6 helicopters buzzing past the house heading east and circling two miles from us -- no sign of smoke tho.
It’s on our side of Rocky Peak -- 118 freeway is at a standstill. It’s either a car went over the side and into the canyon or a small fire. Luckily no wind. Fires starting there have whipped down the Pass to us in less than 10 minutes.
The only fire that’s showing on Inciweb (inciweb.nwcg.gov) that would possibly be affecting you is the Route fire.
Yeah, whatever it was, they took care of it quickly. I have the feeling that we’ll get through the next week OK, but that this heatwave is laying the groundwork for a miserable October-November-Santa Ana period. But maybe that’s just my natural pessimism bleeding through.
I hope you’re wrong. I don’t want the Enviro-weenies to have any more reason to claim that carbon is ruining the environment.
Fires are natural, so it will be OK.
Now that American life expectancy is dropping, I wonder how many years that will add to the life of the planet?
