Power stayed on here last night and so far today. It’s so exciting to see that green energy really works! Actually what saved California is the exodus of those fleeing the state. Their numbers were large enough to reduce demand below what would have blown up the whole grid.
Just got our first Public Safety Power Shutoff warning from SoCal Edison -- Friday night -- the night before we are supposed to get significant amounts of rain. This state is so fucked up.

Last night went okay.
Harper had some friends over while I was at work and they moved the furniture around. Fun was had by all… Except me… thankfully.
We went to Cottonwood today and did some doctor stuff. And some DMV stuff.
So, all in all, kinda productive, I guess.

Wild animals react very strangely to Harper, Kind of reminded me of that.
Yeah, she kinda has a Disney Princess effect on them.

I hope the procedure went well, Sven, and that your pain doesn’t persist.
That sounds about right for Edison -- shut off the power when temps are dropping and power is needed for the storm drain pumps.
