Maaaan…Florida’s getting pounded (and not it the good way). Glad to know the governors of half the states are sending (or have offered) National Guard assistance without our useless Feeb-in-Chief being in the loop. (This is the first major U.S. disaster I can ever remember where the POTUS has been a complete and total dick…and effectively ignored the suffering of his “fellow Americans”.)

I see the Happy Larryville forecast for the next couple of days has dropped to no rain, given that Ian’s projected track has changed so much.
he really looks like the deliverance kid.
But is considerably more mentally-challenged. (And cannot -- to my knowledge -- play the banjo.)
BTW -- I quite like the idea of shipping feral hogs to NYC; let the social workers there deal with them. 😉

Thinking abut the undersea Russian pipelines destroyed the other day -- the media keeps making the case that Russia did it, which makes little sense to me. So who did do it? The idea that Russian retaliation might target the underseas cables that make the internet run seems not farfetched at all -- a good video on how vulnerable these cables really are:
Meeting with surgeon was quite positive. Brenda has responded well enough to chemo that surgery will require only one incision to get rid of everything that needs to go.
Further, it’ll be done as an outpatient procedure, which makes us both very happy.
