Teh Squeaky Wheel
Good morning, GN.
Happy Monday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Sven!
Last week I paid $3.14 per gallon for gas in Kansas City. Yesterday I paid $5.99. That’s more than just wrong.
It’s them greedy gas station owners and the oil companies.
But you outlawed plastic straws!!!! You are saving the planet! Isn’t that worth a sacrifice, Comrade?
I saw a picture of a paper straw in a plastic wrapper. Is that something you see there?
Unfortunately, yes, we do see paper straws wrapped in plastic.
Maybe I should not be so quick to dis California. I was going to fill my gas tank before it got too high but never made it to the station, so I filled it up today. It was $2.859/gal for regular. Maybe we will see three dollar gasoline this year?
Thanks, Mac! Now that you’ve got the knife in, maybe you could twist it a little?
More groundbreaking legislation courtesy of Newsom and the California dems.
Assemblyman Ting authored the bill, also known as the Freedom to Walk Act, because of the high costs of fines that jaywalking can bring, unfairly affecting poorer people. Ting also championed the bill as helping encourage more people to walk rather than drive for environmental reasons.
Jaywalking unfairly affects poorer people? Is it something in the government cheese or on the surface of the SNAP cards that induces them to jaywalk?
