Wish I could stay home today, but Brenda needs to go for blood work and errands must be run.
BK Update: “Okay”; certainly better than a couple of days ago.
HH-A Update: Arbitrator sent an email to the attorneys yesterday; while it was very diplomatic, it appears someone’s finally calling HH-A’s lawbaws out on their six months of BS. Our attorney sent an middlin’ lengthy diplomatic response which included:
It is my client’s position that Defendant’s conduct has not been simply obstreperous and obnoxious, but dilatory, thus leading directly to AAA moving the case to Arbitration which is now, again, being delayed and resisted by Defendant.
HH-A shyster’s response was pretty tepid, weak tea. It seems as though a conference call between attorneys and arbitrator will occur the early part of next week. (Although I fully expect more stalling from these bastards.)
Probably the largest factor in JimCo putting up with HH-A’s monkeyshines for so long is that Jim is a somewhat nicer person than I and -- more to the point -- I live at the other end of the continent and have not been in SoCal lately.
I am certainly not averse to significant vandalism. đź‘ż

Somehow accomplished last night’s employment festivities in under 12 hours.
Very few mishaps. I did have to go to the PO and get mail bags--which I actually remembered to do.
I have a little cigarette lighter bluetooth thingy for when I have to drive an older car at work, so I can listen to soundcloud, or podcasts or whatever. Makes the Big Route go faster. Also has a couple of charging ports on it.
Not sure if I mentioned, but I finally took the shopvac to the interior of the old buick sedan. The first night I drove it I sneezed a lot and had itchy red eyes. So, much better now.
Somehow I misplaced my phone when I got back to the office while finishing up my work. But I retraced my steps and found it.
That, really was the only mishap.
Also, for variety, I did the big route sorta backwards.
I did the first few stops as normal,
delivered the mail to the PO
Then I went up the canyon,
after which I went to the village of Oak Creek.
Then I just had the west sedona stuff to do.
I kinda did both sides of the highway until I passed my house,
Then I did the final bit as normal. That way, if I needed to stop
at home on the way back, I would be completely done by then.
But I opted not to stop. I just ran by the post office and got some mail bags, and then went back a wrapped things up.
Managed to do do the whole thing in about 11 hours. Pretty good for a Friday.
I watched “Pop Culture Crisis” while doing the mail by hand. And listened to Ben Shapiro and Matt Walsh as well as Michael Savage podcasts while on the route.
Because I did it in a different order, it seemed to be more fun and engaging. Not sure of the psychology of that.
Happy Friday, GN!

I still believe this will drag on into 2023.

When I read your HH-A updates, all I can think is FFS.
Hi, Fatwa -- happy Friday, boys. Wishing Brenda good luck.
Happy Foul-mood Feline Friday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Fatwa, Sven, and Mac!
Fatwa -- I agree with Sven’s comments. I don’t know how you and Jim have been able to put up with it for so long.
Drive-by:
Hiya, Sven, Mac and Paddy!
BK’s blood work was very good today; yay!
